Taylor Kerby, Founder and President
With a unique background in engineering, public safety, aviation, and construction management, Taylor brings his vast amount of knowledge and experience to the company in order to develop solutions across industry markets. Taylor graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in civil and construction engineering with focus on mechanical systems and has multiple engineering, emergency management, and aviation certifications. In addition to his role as President, Taylor is qualified to provide advanced training to staff and clients towards licensure and FAA pilot certificates. He has experience flying everything from small drones to commercial airliners and is able to provide flight instruction on any of these platforms.
Hunt Bowers, Director of Flight Operations
Hunt graduated with B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University with a minor in Computer Science. He is a Part 107 licensed commercial drone operator and a longtime drone hobbyist. Current expertise includes VTOL fixed-wing aircraft, precision agriculture and drone automation. As director of flight operations Hunt is responsible for the company Safety Management System (SMS) and ensures that operations are conducted safely and effectively. Additionally, Hunt has instructional experience training new UAS pilots to become commercial operators.
Thomas Burroughs, Pilot and Field Technician
Thomas is completing a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University. He is an expert pilot qualified on a variety of fixed and rotor wing systems along with their sensor payloads. Additionally, Thomas assists in the design, manufacturing, and flight testing of custom aerial platforms.
Jasper Bledsoe, Pilot and Field Technician
Jasper brings a wealth of knowledge to the company from his military experience as a team leader training personnel in terrain analysis and land navigation. While serving in the Army, he had operational experience with the RQ-11 UAS and sensor platform with a focus on analyzing reconnaissance data to support ISR operations. Jasper is available to provide field training to clients on a variety of rotor and fixed wing aircraft and sensor platforms.
